Full Itinerary:

Day 1: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ben Tre

Start your journey at 8:00 AM from your hotel in Saigon. First stop is the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, where you’ll spend a few hours exploring the underground resistance network. Continue riding towards the Mekong Delta, visiting:

 • Rice barns and local rice mills
 • Dong Tam Snake Farm
 • Vinh Trang Pagoda, home to Vietnam’s largest Buddha statues
 • A colorful Cao Dai Temple
Along the way, witness the daily lives of locals in the countryside. Arrive in Ben Tre around 5:00 PM and check in at a homestay or hotel.
 

Day 2: Ben Tre – Tra Vinh – Soc Trang

After breakfast, ride through Mo Cay’s coconut plantations and cross the Co Chien River to reach Tra Vinh, a serene town rich in Khmer culture.

 • Lunch at a local restaurant in Tra Vinh
 • Visit nearby Khmer villages and temples
 • Continue through Cau Quan, take a ferry to Cu Lao Dung Island
 • Travel on quiet, unpaved roads lined with orchards
 • Another ferry takes you to Dai Ngai, Soc Trang
Arrive in Soc Trang in the evening and check into your hotel.
 

Day 3: Soc Trang – Can Tho

Begin the day with a short city tour of Soc Trang, including:

 • Clay Pagoda
 • Bat Pagoda, where hundreds of bats rest in the treetops
Ride through rural roads towards Can Tho. After lunch, continue to Cai Son Canal and check into a local homestay. In the late afternoon, enjoy a peaceful countryside ride through fruit orchards and rice fields. You may visit:
 • A local orchard and wood workshop
 • Tree gardens and riverbanks where locals live simply and joyfully
Return to the homestay for a home-cooked dinner with your host.

Day 5: Dong Thap – Xeo Quyt – Saigon
